Weber 32/36 low profile air filter needed

Post by Shipdrives »

Anyone know where I can get a low profile Weber 32/36 air filter from?

The Empi conversion kit only contains the filter for a Bay which is about an inch too high. I remember seeing a website a few months ago that was advertising the filter complete with top/bottom plates & clips but I can't remember where.

At the moment I'm using the one supplied in the kit which I cut in half but it doesn't seal correctly so is running a bit weak. I'm not sure if they're serious but on their website, JK suggest cutting a hole in the engine bay lid!

 Excellent service from Eurocarb - ordered yesterday at 1600, arrived with this morning's post - not bad considering it's almost Christmas!

Part number/description is:

EMPI 8809 Weber DFAV air filter

 The filter element is washable.
