pics of pop top canvas
im restoring my t25 westy and stitching up my own canvas for the pop top. problem is i think it was a botch conversion but what im after is pics of where the poptop canvas attaches to the roof so i can do it properly. i dont think mine was factory as it was kind of glued down with seamsealer sort of stuff. any pics much appreciated.

On early Westy campers (1980 to 1983-ish), the tent fastens to the top with staples and a "tack strip." On later models (1984-ish to 1991) the tent fastens to the top with screws and an aluminum strip. If you have a 1983/1984 camper, please check your camper to see if you've got staples or screws

yes mate mine is the same long plastic baton screwed every 6 or so inches and sealer around it
when i attached mine i put the silicon on the roof first then attached the canvas and strip and screwed down also put some silicon in each screw hole i drilled after all that i ran along the inside and outside of it with silicon hjad no problems as yet and been away in some bad rain good luck ROB!!
