Fuel tank filler pipe & vent pipe

Post by boardmonkey »

Hi,

Ive dropped my fuel tank, during this process you need to seperate the vent pipe from the fuel filler pipe.
Theres some sort of rubber grommet to attach the vent pipe to the filler pipe, mine was rotten....and pretty much disintergrated...

Any ideas what the hell this part is ? and where I can find it ?

I would start looking for the parts you need on the Brickwerks web-shop, if you don't find them there, and you really have searched properly, then phone them. Afternoons is best, it is mayhem there in the mornings! Michael is the man you need.

Hi Paul,

Yeah I got the fuel tank bits from Brickwerks, they dont stock this part though...just this minute found it on JK...

Sealing pipe has two functions – connecting the brake filler tube to the brake reservoir on all VW T2s from 1967 to 1979 and connecting the filler pipe to join and seal the breather pipe on VW T25s from 1985 to 1992.

part number 211 611 833 D
