I removed all the grey fabric lining my van as it was old and ugly.
Removing it is a nightmare - it's really thick so sanding it only really moves it around, petrol just doesn't effectively shift it and acetone doesn't really either. I can't use a heat gun as it'll burn the headlining and i need to to be able to remove the glue around the nooks and crannies at the windows etc.
Any suggestions or sources of good glue removers?
Cheers
Best way to remove old carpet glue?

Cellulose thinners shifts Evo-stick type contact glues, you need lots of it, plenty on to get it soaked and it returns to a sticky mess, then plenty more on a rag, changing regularly, to thin it until it all comes off
Hard work, smelly and you`ll be high as a kite when you`ve finished
Keep it real.
