Clutch pipe ?

Post by stevie43_uk »

Hi All,

I think I've got a leak on my 1988 diesel clutch pipe.

I've had a look and it appears to be 6mm plastic pipe which runs all the way from the master cylinder right back to the slave cylinder - is that correct or does it have copper inside it ?
Anyone know if I can chop the piece out ( which is in the middle) and put a new piece in or if the whole length is available somewhere ?
Also where is the fluid reservoir for the master cylinder ?

Brickwerks are selling the correct spec pipe now for just over 12 quid and new unions for 92 pence each (2 needed per vehicle)
It is not just plastic but metal inners.

Hope that helps!
