Any other lanky lads or lasses come up with a creative solution to this problem ? Cant see the top half of speedo or the high beam light (ok I could move that).
Are there any VW fitment eccentric steering wheels maybe? My wheel is 420mm. Thinner seats would help but they are very comfy so dont really want to lose them (the ones with armrests)

I'm 6'0" and get the view above, either my seat is too thick or my legs are very short !!!

have you got a swivle base on the drivers side? i took it out of the camper on the driver side as it lifts the drivers seat up an inch or two creating the same problem you are having but i am 6ft 4inch.

I had that problem when I temporarily had a Scirocco wheel fitted.
What wheel is that? Power steering / Caravelle type?
Consider swapping it for a standard (bigger) T3 wheel? (Though the standard wheel benefits from a nice cover as they are a bit spindly in the hand as they come, imho)
I have one in my shed you could have for just the postage if you want to try it.

Not sure what wheel it is, it was there when I got the van and assumed it was standard? Its 420mm o/d. If your wheel is bigger?? its worth a try thank you.
Neil there is a swivel base, removing it is a thought, I've used it occasionally. Swivel base, fat seats, head in the clouds, I suppose I cant have it all !!!
Has anyone up here seen Lloydy ?

A bog standard wheel is 445mm O.D. - that could be a Power steering or Caravelle type.

That's the reason,
Smaller power steering wheel and swivel seat coupled with being a lanky tw*t!
As a favour I'll swap you a standard cr*ppy thin wheel and you can throw the swivel in for good measure, the rest you'll have to work on.

Ha ha, that's made me roar with laughter. Let me see if there are any surgical alternatives and I'll get back to you.
