I decided to get myself a TK103B+ tracker! Trouble is I'm struggling to get it to work with my central locking unit & wondered if anyone could help me out.
I have installed in my van a universal central locking unit (Right Click CLR669hc). I disconnected the original main CL unit and wired up the tracker with the actuators as below in the diagram - needless to say, it's not working. The relays are fine & I'm getting 12V to the blue & green when I use the lock/unlock buttons on the key fob but the actuators aren't firing. I've tried swapping blue & green with signal on/signal off on the relays but still no joy.
I guess it may have something to do with the white & brown wires from the master actuators as these aren't doing anything at the moment. Thoughts/musings welcome!
Your master actuators show as having a direct earth. I would therefore disconnect the tracker wires and just apply a 12v feed to each of the actuator wires to find which ones trigger some action. You are looking for one that triggers a lock, and one that triggers an unlock. Once you have identified those, reconnect the tracker wiring and try again. I had to follow the tracker instructions as if I had a pnuematic actuator in order to get mine working although that may only be due to the design of the VW actuators.

Hi Brian.. again!
I tried that and I'm still getting no trigger in the actuators. Just a thought but could it be that I'm not getting enough juice to the actuators? Both relay feeds and the trigger feeds are being supplied by one 12v wire and when I said I'm getting 12v to the blue & green, I'm assuming I am - my multimeter battery died on me so I was using a light bulb to check power.
2 possible checks. One way would be to get a battery for your multimeter so you can check what the original CL controller gave in the way of feed. Otherwise, just take a 12v feed, not via the tracker, and make sure that you can get the actuators to - er - actuate. If that doesn't work then definitely option one.

Just to expand on my previous reply all of those generic c/l actuators are the same 2 wire actuator just the 5 wire ones have a microswitch to trigger the control box.
To lock and unlock you need to reverse the polarity.
If you wire it up as per the diagram above there is no earth for the actuators to achive an earth connection you need to connect the normally closed contacts on the relays to earth.
Thanks Brian, MPG,
Just tried an old 5 wire actuator on a battery & connected blue & green (separately) to positive and black to negative - nothing, so will try earthing orange and orange/black on the relays.
Can't do anything for a day or so but will let you know - Ta for the help.
Pete.
