Power steering

Post by strangely brown »

Can anyone help, a friend of mine has a 1988 right-hand drive Autohomes conversion that he is working on, the power steering has thrown the towel in. Something that connects onto the rack-arm at one end and to the power steering unit at the other end.
I know that at this stage this is a bit vague, but i havent seen it as yet, he has spoken to Simon at Brickwerks and Simon reckons it is not a volkwagen rack, it's certainley not the same as mine. The qustion is would anyone have one of these or know were he could get one, or does anyone know who the company was that used to supply Autohomes with these after market racks.

any replies greatly appreciated
