Sorry the photo is not the best, it was taken at the rear over the top on the silencer.
The metal sheet comes down between the silencer and water pump.

There's one that's been advertised on eBay for £40 for months and months and months. You'll pick one up easy enough I'm sure.
Why would the glass be anything other than half full?

Not sure if they are the same as 2wd

I made once once in under 20 minutes from sheet steel using two lengths of timber and a club hammer (all I had on site) to get the right shape, make the bends, then drill for the fixing bolts. It amazed the fella I was working with.
To be fair, its only a shield so as long as everything lines up, thats all that matters.
