I bought the wrong hubcaps?

Post by martinkgray »

I bought some chrome hubcaps on ebay over the winter. They were said to come off an old Beetle and i presumed that they would fit the t25 onto the standard 14 inch steelies.

They are heavy and good quality but when I tried to fit them at the weekend (finally found some time) they don't fit. They look the same but are deeper, they have an extra inch depth to the outside and whilst close the rim is ever so slightly smaller. See attached image below.

Any ideas what these are from? Then i can relist them accurately on ebay and try and get some that fit my t25.
