Hi all, Are there any tell tale signs that your gearbox is on its way out or do they just give up. Just wondering for future ref. thanks

Re: Gear box wear and tear
when you last renewed the Gearbox oil did you check the magnetic rod in the drain cap?

What Kev says,
I had a gearbox that showed no signs at all but had quite a bit of 'debris' on the drainplug so it does seem that they will work quite well even when on the way out.
If yours is clean then you may still have some time!
