Would anyone know where I can find an exploded view of a 1.9d 1Y engine pls ?
I've trawled t'internet without success

Just buy a Haynes manual is the obvious answer for most of what you need. What do you need it for?

The VW workshop manual is also good for diagrams, the 1Y engine mechanics manual will have what you need. You might want to look at Elsawin.

Haynes no. 3097 - isbn 1 85960 762 4, VW Golf & Vento Feb 1992 to Mar 1998 covers the 1Y, AAZ etc. can usually pick one up on ebay. One ending in 2 hrs, http://www.ebay.co.uk/dsc/i.html?_dmd=1 ... =2&_sop=15
