Eber/petrol to diesel

Having my westy converted from watercooled to 1.9 td I have petrol eber but obviously it won't work can I just get rid of petrol eber and replace with a diesel unit??

Will be expensive :shock: You could always have a petrol supply tank for it, but it`s a bit of a faff having dual-fuel :)

Try for a swapper? petrol Eber in exchange for a diesel one, someone may have done a diesel to petrol engine swap? :)

well done on the superior choice of engine!.. now you can spend the weekends "driving" and "camping" instead of rolling round under the van replacing and repairing things. and think of the extra power, and the money you will save on fuel costs!! a wise move.

Thanks Weaz, Can't wait that's what's realy stopping me going far and wide its heavy on juice and its a bit smelly(tired engine) having it fitted in Jan so summer should be mega! Its going to skin me cash wise but like you say 'in the long run' I should see the positives :wink:

go propex, i got a 2000 from ebberbasto on ebay for £30 cheaper than the 1600 from bluebird!
