Airbag Light coming on. Mk5 golf 1.6 TSI please help.

Hi everyone.
A friend has asked if I know any auto electricians that don't cost the earth, so I suggest that I would ask the question on this forum in the hope of helping him.
Does anyone know of an auto electrician with reasonable rates please around in proximity to the North Wales/Chester areas?
I believe its regarding an airbag light which illuminates on a Mk5 golf 1.6 TSI 04 plate.
They were told that it was the airbag within the seat, and had it disconnected. However the light has returned despite this after a while.
If anyone knows anything that I could pass on I'm sure they'd be grateful.
