Sliding door locking...the pain continues...

Post by lian »

Have posted this to the facetube groups too so please bear with....

Is there anyone based close to Norwich who has intimate knowledge of hos the sliding door mechanism and lock works. We have had Betsy restored and are having major troubles getting the door to shut flush (it does without the rubber seal in place) and lock from inside and out. It must be something to do with the adjustments of the mechanisms front and back but plenty head scratching going on with no progress. Appreciate some guidance if anyone in T25 land has any knowledge.

Hopefully..
Ian

if you slacken the pin (that the rear of door locates on to) then retighten finger tight. shut the door and push the rear flush open the door and nip up the pin.
