got them back from Lepsons yesterday,they are light anthracite,they have come out way better than I was expecting and will make the van look a bit grubby now

it sounds expensive to get done but when you how much some of these mobile guys that only rub them down and paint them can charge it is a no brainer really as all the nooks and crannies get done,very happy with the result just have to get my new tyres fitted now

I paid £210 to to get five done.I can live with that. :)

Rob what wheels are they off
Do you have a picture of them on your van
Reason I ask is I've been offered the same wheels but unsure if they will fit

I have the same wheels, they're Atiwe alloys which were a VW option for the VW T25/T3, 6x14 ET30. Assuming that is what you have been offered they will fit straight on. They take tapered rather than radiused wheel bolts/nuts.

Cheers for info marlinowner, what kind of price should I be paying for a set of these in average condition with tyres bearing in mind I've not seen them in the flesh yet only a picture of one

Cost is tricky because mine came with the van (South African as well), and condition would be important. I would guess at around £100 per wheel/tyre in reasonable condition. Could be miles out though!

I haven't got a clue either I thought vw only did the carat so these wheels are a mystery to me till I came across this thread
I'm really after carat alloys but suppose these are worth a look
Guess I be better going to view them and take it from there
