AAZ water pump bolt sheered removing from housing

Post by mikec »

Don't ask how. This one was way tighter than the others so not blaming myself for this.

The question is, can I get away without this?

Downside is it's one of the ones behind timing cover so pain if it does leak there.

I wouldn't risk it, bound to leak. You can buy a whole pump and housing for pretty cheap

Reach for the propane and warm it up a bit. It might drift out with a bit of firm language.

EZ-out snapped in bolt. Was looking good up to that point...

Have ordered complete assembly from brickworks, thanks Lloydy
