Which Gearbox...
I am looking to do a engine conversion in the near future. I havent decided between VAG, EJ20 NA, or sticking with WBX. But I potentially have the chance to get my hands on a working diesel gearbox. When I go look at it, what code should I look for?
1984 Voltswagen 25 Pop-Top (No idea what type!?) 1.9 W/C Petrol based in Guernsey, C.I.

unless you are changing to il4 diesel box has no value to you, the petrol ratio box you have is all you need
3H turbodiesel box is same inside as petrol ABN only difference is diesel bellhousing and input shaft
