oil light going out to soon?

Post by Sagemagoo »

Thanks for looking.

Had an (AAZ) engine rebuild and now the oil light flickers on for an instant when you turn the ignition on but goes out straight away before the engine is cranked over - I think it used to stay on until the engine had started before the rebuild.

Suggestions?

low pressure switch should be closed when engine not running, opens at 3psi and the oil light goes out, so i would suggest either wirinng or sender issue
