Psychic paint matching, please.

Post by CitizenMoon »

My T 25 is coming on leaps and bounds now it is off road. Now I am trying to paint match, sorry no picture, but that may not help anyway, I would call it ox-blood, if it were a doctor martin boot! it is not the original colour, but seems a very common T25 colour? Halfords" Mercedes Jupiter Red looked a great match on the tin, but looked way too red when sprayed, as did V.W. Tornado red. Any thoughts appreciated as the van is looking a bit like a (quite pretty) impressionist painting where the rust used to be. As usual, thanks in advance chaps and chapesses.
P.S. to the moderators, a "like" and "thanks" button would be cool. otherwise love this site, as people do not rip it out of me because I obviously do not what I am talking about!
Thanks all.

Have a chat with these chaps & they will make up the colour for you. If you remove & send your cat flap on the back of your van they'll be able to make up a match from the colour on that:

I only know about farcebook because my wife has "friends" on it. Only proposing a "thanks" or something, thanks for the marsala red tip though, I did say it was a re-spray. built '83 if it helps, cheers
