Indicators not working

Light on dash on permanently but indicators not working (all) but hazards DO work- help?!

Remove the relay from the rear of the fuse box. Clean the connections and replace. That may cure the problem. If not, buy a replacement.

...or if its an early van (ie bullet fuses), remove and check the relevant ones as they can look ok at a cursory glance but have a hairline crack or other damage. Often owners assume its the indicator stalk when any of the above, or a bad connection at earth crown are the cause.
