problem shooter hydrophilic lifters

so after finding the top right 1st tappet with the end snapped of under the rocker cover and the source of the horrendous noise when running i replaced it and carried on fiting it to fined damage to what i think is the liffter under the puchrod and tube this lookes damaged dose any one know how to change this part?

Hi Aaron

So we can understand, hydraulic tappets are deep in the engine running on the cam, pushrods transfer movement to the rockers which are under the covers on a WBX, the rockers are on the rocker shaft and press on the valves.
Rockers have a basic adjustment screw and Locknuts, adjustment for hydraulic tappets is to have no gap the hydraulics sort out the rest.

worth noting that solid tappets can be fitted there need adjusting with a gap.

so what did you replace?
