I want to install 2 x 3 point seatbelts in the rear of my T25 Caravelle - which has a full width rock n roll bed in.
It already has a lapbelt and the 2 seatbelt connectors installed inside the main box of the bed.
I was directed to Brickwerks which sell 2 for around £160 in total. Just Kampers sell 2 for around £100 - they look slightly different, but do the same job Im guessing and fit pretty much the same? I'm just wondering why there is the price difference? I'm on a budget but would never compromise safety...which do I go for?
Thanks Emma

Re: Why choose one seatbelt over another?
The Brickwerks kits have an adaptor plate which allows you to mount the inertia reel at the side using the fixing points that VW built into the Caravelle body. It's not entirely clear from the instructions how the JK kit does this detail.
We fitted one of the BW kits to our Westy when we bought it and found it to be very straightforward other than cutting the hole in the side panel to bring the belt through - measure thrice cut once! We used one of the trims BW sell to finish the hole off. I couldn't comment on how easy the JK kit is.
Don't forget as an 80-90 member you get a bit of a discount from BW.

I did the jk one - says it's all you need but in reality there's no mounting plate so you have to make one

Re: Why choose one seatbelt over another?
Thanks for the advice. I had no idea about the discounts!
I have to say that being a novice, the BW explanation of how to fit the belts seems MUCH easier than JK's...also it has put me off that you may have to make a mounting plate as such, to fit JK's belts...I need the option to be as easy as possible. ANd the discount is attractive.
Thanks all!
