I think its the control unit for an eberspacher? Its in my Caravelle tucked behind the door card. The actual eberspacher is not present but there are heat exchanger holes in the floor.
ECU for Eberspächer and control unit + associated wiring. Worth £50 -£60 on Ebay maybe more on a good day. Used on D1L/B1L and other heaters. No heater tucked away in a box underneath then?
Light to the rear - I took it apart it has tube lighting, but I can;t get it to work - (i havent changed the bulbs yet, but none of the lighting in the interior works).
Yes there this OldiebutGoodie.... is this just the rear heater? At the moment it gets warm but not sure its blowing anything out... its inside the Westy rock n roll bed that I put in...but theres no cut through for the heat to be released into the van..

That's the original VW rear heater that us posh Caravelle owners have/had.
Eberspächer would be in a tin box underneath the van if still present. Unlikely if all the wiring is tucked away though.
Ah okay thanks, yes I forgot its positioned under the van..i think i can see where it used to be..shame it was taken out :-/
When I bought the bus the guy said it was an ex BBC van..it has odd wiring all over the place, several aerials, mic cables, cut throughs etc
