Where can I buy a new horn push anyone?!

Post by chuggers72 »

OK - I've had a reet good trawl around for a replacement horn push on the steering wheel with no joy (standard rectangular one).

Rather than get hold of a replacement steering wheel anyone know of a supplier other than the usual suspects (Brickwerks, Just Kampers etc)??

Cheers

Assuming you just want the plastic push bit I'd be looking at breakers.

Cant see the horn push on following site but you could ask. The complete standard wheel is £25

Could also post something in the wanted section too.

The contact ring on the back wears out. IIRC its a common part, used on Golfs of the period

I was aware of this problem but assumed that it was a faulty push as it is loose when in position in the wheel and the the two metal connectors (within the push) are also loose.
