Crankcase Earth Strap Location

Post by Chunksta »

Where is it supposed to be?

I don't think I have an engine earth other than on my gearbox.

Left hand head, 10mm a/f bolt (M6) on a long boss near distributor. A pair of tappings which should have at least one earth there already for the oil pressure switch.
Earth braid goes to body, captive nut in chassis rail below coil.

Oil pressure switch does not connect to the engine other than by its screw thread
