Where is it supposed to be?
I don't think I have an engine earth other than on my gearbox.

Re: Crankcase Earth Strap Location
Left hand head, 10mm a/f bolt (M6) on a long boss near distributor. A pair of tappings which should have at least one earth there already for the oil pressure switch.
Earth braid goes to body, captive nut in chassis rail below coil.

Cheers Silverbullet,
I've found where you have described and there's only the temp sensor wiring.
Now going o fit an earth strap.
