Rust - MOT failure?

Hi all,

I've decide to have a look at some of the patches of rust in my van.



I can remember from reading on the forum that rust near certain things like seat belts are considered a failure for an mot.

Just wondered if the attached picture would cause a failure? Is it structural for example?

My MOT is due shortly.

Well from what I can see it would be a failure - there is nothing to test!

Tried it in a different browser and can see it now - ominously close to the jacking point which may also be bad on closer inspection. Doesn't bode well.

I'll have a poke about the jacking point.

It was fine about 6 months ago when I had the van on stands.
