hi just bought a bluestar & tryin to sort its probs outso ere goes..

centrelocking inop,only the pass door is goin up & down continuous
electric mirror motor makin a noise,moves sideways but not up n down?
table wont pop out,is there any adjustment?
12v power socket next to hbrake inop,fuses all good?

any help wud be great ,cheers

Well the C locking on my Caravelle wasn't working when I bought it, so I stripped the motors and cleaned all the contacts. The sliding contact in each unit has a pair of springs that had rusted to nothing.

electric mirror motor makin a noise,moves sideways but not up n down?

Is there a motor noise when you try to make the mirror move up & down?
The reason I ask is because some vehicles (non VW) have two motors to operate one mirror ie: one for sideways & one for up/down. You could have one good motor & one duff motor in the same mirror. An electric mirror won't be cheap to replace unless you can find someone who's breaking a van with a suitable mirror.
