recommend a good restoration garage

Post by brown-bus »

Please could anyone suggest a good garage where I could have my T25 restored (bodywork welding & paintwork .... plus engine work) - ideally within a 40 - 50 miles radius of Otley (West Yorkshire).
I've already used local garages in both Otley and Ilkley but been disappointed with the results!!
Thanks.

regarding the mechanical bit it's well worth talking to Andrew at the Campershack in Grantham. Well worth the extra travel requirements. He steers well clear of bodywork though.

Hi all,

Would anyone be able to recommend a good garage in Kent/Sussex area for restoration please?

I have a 1989 t25 and am looking into having it fully converted. Originally myself and 5 others owned the van but over the years people have dropped out and now it's all on me to keep this amazing bus going! Currently it's off the road and needs a few minor jobs to get past mot. Figured may as well do everything in one go-- price permitting:)

Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Wesley

Although it’s in West Sussex so quite a distance from Kent

So can this be right that (apart from Metalmickey - who says he's too busy), there are no other bodyworkers / painters in the whole Yorkshire region that anyone can recommend ?
