Injector wiring DJ engine

Injector wiring DJ engine
Someone has butchered the wiring to the injectors see attached pic. The red wire is loose (it traces to a red/ white) . Should there be two wires to each injector ? Hope this makes sense . The injector in question is front of engine / left ( no1 ?)

The injectors do have two wires yes.
According to the Haynes they are both white.
