No, that stuff is not recommended for the VW flat 4 motors.

The Comma product that is suitable is Red in colour same as this here on Ebay

p.s. There is a whole load of info in our "wiki" here = https://club8090.co.uk/wiki/Co ... ded_brands" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but the upshot of it is the stuff you need is red / pink in colour and with either VW G12, G12+, G12++ or G13 compatibility marked on the can. (iirc G13 is violet in colour but is compatible and mixable with red / pink but NOT with blue or green stuff.)

50% antifreeze too. I put 8 litres of that in first. That way you know strength is at least minimum required - then add the 8 litres water (or whatever you can get in) until its full and bled. It soon mixes.

One MUST have a selection of assorted screws to hand and aren’t Polo wrappers kept for mending your bullet fuses?

Started mine today after I got my MOT...seems everyone is doing these at the moment...loads of posts about it...

Stuck on the Shear bolts, thinking will "idiot" a groove in the top, then "idiot" them again to turn them anti clockwise...dont want to drill them out unless I have to...
