Is this ready-mix coolant still OK?

Post by Gavla80 »

Checked the coolant level last night, it's red and the level is sitting just above the min line on the tank behind the number plate.

I've had this stuff sitting in my garage that I bought for another car about 7 years ago.... On the back of the bottle there is a list of codes, one of which is VW (TL774D). From reading the wiki I believe this is the right stuff for me use to top up my van... but does anyone know if it will have "gone-off" :?: or is it still OK to use :?:

Thanks in advance!

No, it'll be fine. It's sitting in the engine and actually preventing corrosion that "uses it up".
