Hi,
I have noticed that everytime I start the bus a red light flashes above the temperature guage. Not having owned one of these buses before I was wondering if this is normal. Once up and running for a few minutes the light goes out and the guage reads a normal temperature.

This happens with my van sometimes as well. My coolant header tank doesnt always take the coolant from the filler bottle, meaning it doesnt refill itself properly. Take the hose from the header tanks lid and unscrew the lid. Fill the tank up with coolant, then replace the lid and hose nice and tight. Now it should be OK. The reason its probably stopping after a while is probably because as the coolant heats up the prssure increases, the coolant expands causing the level to rise and cut out the sensor thats causing the little light to flash.
