84 hightop factory black advice needed

Post by Libbiwood »

Hi, I have a 1984 factory black hightop camper with a black hightop.
Can anyone help shed light on who made the interior. It was supplied ready converted by Colindale Vw and was supplied in black. The hightop is also moulded in black. The interior is similar to an autohomes it's 2 birth and has a blow air heater and thermostat waiste water tank under the van and fresh water tank under the bed. Both front seats are fixed and there are pole mount tables that go between the front seats and in front of the bed. The fridge is an Electrolux and is the same model as fitted to the autohomes, well it all is except the layout is different as are the sink and hob. The service history has all the instructions for the appliances but there is no mention of the converters and no badge any were. The badge on the water filler is in German as is the badge on the waste tank an the sunroof mounted in the hardtop is stamped Vw any ideas. cant seem to attach photos so sorry for that. Can't seem to find any conversions that offered black as a colour option what so ever. Help :run

The convertor didn't paint the van, vw did.
And you'll have to post some pics so someone can give you a idea on who put the interior in, that description will get you nowhere
