Post by DEA110Y »

How do I get the top nut off the stater motor.? Early air cooled 1970cc.
Don't even know what size of spanner to use.
Spent an hour fumbling blindly.... :run

The top nut is in the engine bay, not on the starter motor.

^^This^^

The top nut, on the starter is actually a half moon (D shaped) bolt... the nut is on the top corner of the engine... undo nut and pull the starter out with the bolt still on it :)
