Advice on thermal window screen covers please :)

Post by nordberg »

Hi guys and Gals,
Camped out on Saturday night and although it wasn't sub zero I did see a Just Kampers External Thermoscreen cover on one of the vans that I thought was pretty good. I am expecting to camp again for a couple of nights New Years weekend and I was just wondering (before I commit to buying a thermal screen cover) if anybody else can give any feedback on this particular cover or advise a link to an alternative that may be as good if not better? Not sure about the internal covers as they seem to be a bit more involved on the install side with the possibility of still getting condensation on the windows?? Again, feedback welcome :D

Sliver Screens tend to get the best reviews, I believe they do two models for a T3 either with or without front arial.

I got a Cover Sytems one from the classifieds that I'm very happy with.

Silver screens are very good. I would not bother with the inside stick on ones, i found them to be rubbish.

To be honest, since getting my atlantic with double glazing, I've found it much better. In snow regions, I will just let the factory eber tickover. I might also fit some black out thermal material to the curtains. Much more convenient. I also leave my roof down too. :ok

If you have the syncro side mirrors, let them know and they will make them to suit.

Got an early Xmas present yesterday. Although the screen cover was more than double the Just Kampers one, I am pretty impressed with the quality and of the Silver Screens cover :D
