JX cylinder heads

Does anyone know if you can tell the difference between a mechanical and a hydraulic valve cylinder head by sight with out removing the rocker cover. Thanks.

hydraulic has two oil return passages visible from front,one for mechanical.or casting number.

Thank you, thats what i thought .But i know jx didnt have hydraulic heads but mines a recon so think it has.

If you go on brickyard,search,jx cylinder head ,first item ,view post, and look at the picture it shows a hydraulic head with two oil return round holes one half way along the outer edge the other three quarters of the way along the outer edge
