Hello all.
I have a 88 Autosleeper high top. For a long time ( couple of years ) I have squeaking from the lower passenger seating area, used to say I have mice on board but getting louder now. By accident found out that when I put the brakes on the squeaking stops, the camper has passed 6 MOT's without a hitch and runs like a dream. Any of you good campers any idea please.
My regards
Brian

wishbone bushes - more noticeable over speed bumps and can come and go. Braking takes up the play slightly and mutes any squeak.

I prefer Ken's method to the barbaric method of clouting them in or out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRaJa8NJAPc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - dead easy once you've secured suitable tube. Need to grind off and retack welds.
To be honest they can squeak for years but if its getting worse, get them replaced. They rarely get picked up on MOTs in my experience, but you'll notice it yourself and should trust your instincts. They can collapse eventually.

I have the same problem myself. It,s been at it for the last year or so and getting noticeably worse. Time to pull up the sleeves I think

Any idea of costs of having someone do it for you? This is the sort of thing I could easily make a pig's ear of.

Evening all.
Thanks for your info and will have it looked at. Glad it's not a brake problem and wish you well with your T25.
