I've got what looks like an ear trumpet and is so quiet that a car rolling back into me couldn't hear it. I now want something loud!

I think mines full of mud and clay. It's makes a really inappropriate sound in moment of road rage!

Re: Sharan horn into t25
Not a straight swap no. Anything beyond the stock Beetle horn will need a relay or the horn contacts and/or wiring will suffer.

I fitted a replacement from Brickwerks and it more than does the job.

I thought it was just mine that made that unique beep. How very 'personal' to our vans, I now feel 'special', (missus often calls me 'special' but that's because she's a good judge of character.........)
Why would the glass be anything other than half full?

It appears that we all have 'the' horn!
Shouldn't take long to take that out of context

Get yourself a Stebel, they fit easily, some are supplied with a relay.

Re: Sharan horn into t25
Two in mine. An Italian style one for main horn (sounds angry enough) and the oooh-gaah klaxon horn for my 10-year-ol passenger. He uses that one if he sees another T25 - saves me doing it. He has a huge red button in front of him. Both horns on relays. Meep-meep is at the tip. No law says you can't have more than one or even an array of singular horns for different situations. Everything ranging from "Hi I'm here" to "*$£$£%* you complete and utter "£$%%&"

Re: Sharan horn into t25
Any hi-lo horn combo gets my vote. Fitted a pair from a MK3 Golf (alteadt had the relay) now the bus sounds properly Germanic, not that weedy "beeeeep" that better suits a FIAT 126....

Re: Sharan horn into t25
I reckon I've only got the high part of what was a high low combo and it was full of water. I've emptied it and pointed it forwards and it sounds better but I've got the bug. Is fitting the relay simply a matter of cutting the feed wire and inserting the relay?
