2.1 dj engine
engines ive a 1.9 dg would like a 2.1 engine so here goes.. theres a 2.1 dj injection on here with no ecu so if i used my carb would it run the same or still need ecu and do you have to change the fuel tank as well?? if i run it on the carb set up how much power would be lost
thanks

Re: 2.1 engine
Plenty of people running 2.1s on pierburg 2e3s from the 1.9dg
Not sure if they have had the carb re jetted but i guess not, may not produce as much power or economy as the injection system but it will work well and no ecu needed with a carb from a 1.9 dg.
if you have a 1.9 df solex carb forget it

Re: 2.1 engine
Just bolt on I think
if you have the money for rolling road and rejetting then do it, may take a while to recover the rolling road costs on an economy basis as you will probably not be doing high mileage, but if its power you want then do it.
not done it myself so others may have some other advice?
