Westfalia Fridge not working on electric

Post by Allan344 »

Hi

My westfalia dometic fridge has suddenly stopped working on electric but still works on lpg.

Any ideas where I should look to resolve first.

Thanks
Allan

The obvious trip switches on your mains outlet?
If not then the 230 volt electric element in the back of the fridge may have failed.

Do you mean on hook up or when driving? If it is when driving the problem could just be a bit of corrosion on the fuses in the small black fuse box to the right hand side next to the driver's door. Take them out clean them with WD40 and the connections too. That cured that problem for me.
