sealants and adhesives

Post by mbcamper »

Planning some van reassembly very soon and wanted to check I'm using the right products.

Firstly windscreen and window rubber sealant:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/INDASA-Windscre ... en+sealant" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I know you can fit them dry, but having put so much trouble into fixing it all up I don't want to take any chances of any leaks.

Secondly there is reattaching the high top roof for which I'm planning on using Sikaflex 512.

Thanks

Mark

Sounds good to me. An alternative windscreen sealant is Arbomast Autograde - looks like the same stuff as yours though.
