Fitting an awning rail/track to westy hightop

Post by Devon Pete »

Hi y'all, has anyone fitted an awning rail? I have a west hightop, but don't really want to drill holes into the van, so I was planning to stick down a plastic/rubber awning rail to the inside of the gutter with waterproof adhesive. I can't imagine this will cause any issues, but if anyone has any experience of fitting an awning rail your advice is welcomed! Cheers :D

I, too, don't want to drill the van, so I compromised with a figure of 8 keder strip. It's not a perfect seal, and you need to be careful clipping it on and taking it off - But it WORKS!
