Driving lamps

Can anyone out there tell me how to wire up a pair of driving lamps to come on with full beam. Need some extra oomph, its a 1989 1700 diesel. Thanks guys.

Fused live feed from the battery to relay, switch feed from existing main beam to relay, earths, job jobbed. It's just the same as the Wiki how-to-relay wiring.

Better by far to get your headlights working to their full potential. Mine light the road brilliantly in front now. Headlamp relays, decent reflectors and bulbs will sort that. I do have 'driving lamps' but they contribute little if anything really since the headlights were sorted.
