JX tailpipe studs or bolts?!

Big lumps of metals and spanners. Including servicing and fluids.

JX tailpipe studs or bolts?!

Post by Reimotim »

Hi guys!

Just looked down at the rear of my van today only to see the tailpipe section is missing. On closed inspection it appears that the bolts/studs have corroded and I probably clipped it on a curb while parking. Anyhow, what I need to know is whether the tailpipe is supposed to be held on by studs or bolts? There are three rusty stubs left and I can't what they were.

If they were studs, they are now completely useless. How do I get round this issue? Can I drill them out?

Thanks
Tim

Hi,

Pretty certain its bolts, so just need drill out and re-tap or replace with nuts/bolts
