Pipe from eber pump to fuel can - what type and where from?

Post by leighinstoke »

Hiya ppl.

Seeing it's brass monkeys weather, I've finally decided to 'pull out the finger' and get the eber fitted to the van - saves packing it to move!

So - what type of pipe do I need - it's for the diesel model and to one of the towsure fuel containers with the cap with a hole.

(God how technical is that description?)

All help appreciated.

Leigh.... :D

Munchin? We don't have 'em crispy here mate!

Will have to trek to local car shop - actually thought I needed something even more special for the job.

think the pipe from the tank to the pump isn't critical, it's only suction from the pump (not pressurised) so any small bore pipe would do. I used an old piece of brake pipe i had in the garage.

Just used the short piece of rubber hose & jubilee clip which came with the eber.

So I been told!

Will be gathering part together over the next week - found some flexi tubing from 'bits and bobs' shop (sort of hardware place that sells anything from nails and screws to dead dogs legs!) - think it's actually part of an aquarium piping system but will do the job - decent bore, etc.

Exhaust tube in yard too.

It will be - it will be - even though it's taken me over 18 months to get around to it - and wished it was fitted on the first icey morning the other week. :?
