on investigation it now seems like .. (And please don't ask how but it's happened ) I've put 24v into my 12 fridge !!! What could this have killed ??? Could I of fried the igniter ???
in too deep to quit now....

Yes it could have killed bits that are designed for 12 Volts. The obvious question though is, have you tested it's operation since the mistake ?
Got a new van, but it's a 165bhp T4 [shock horror] Accurate LPG Station map here

Well I reckon it's beyond my skills and patience to try to sort it out ... And it is after all 30 years old, very small and a tawt to light anyway... So I've bined it and made a MUCH needed cupboard :)
So if anybody needs a bit please say before the tip gets it !!!
