Just bought my carat back and have a small gearbox issue I can't find a answer in the wiki
My gearbox goes into second and then jumps out this doesnt happen to any other gear
Is it the selector? ???

Maybe the selector and linkage worn/out of adjustment..
But.. a gear not holding in is usually down to wear on the synchro hubs and gear, the more times it slips out the worse its gonna get and don't be tempted to try and hold it in on the leaver to much, this places more wear on the shifter mechs and thus more parts to replace.. Its tired and needs a rebuild.. just as most do by now...
