A stupid neighbour took the corner off my Vanny's front bumper - thankfully her bullbars stopped the damage being more serious and, as is often said: "you should see the other guy".
Although it is an insurance job I've got to do the legwork and get quotes, etc.
Has anyone any experience in sourcing a replacement grey (I guess it used to be black) fibre glass bumper - Vanny is a 1989 Autosleeper Trident and the doors have a matching panel at the bottom where it does a kind of wrap-around.
Or, if I'm not likely to find a match, do you know of ways of replacing this bumper with a different type (I see JustKampers do a couple of types of bumper kit). I guess I'd want to replace the rear one to match, too?
Might it be repairable?
Any ideas and shared experience welcome.
Paul.

Re: Sourcing replacement fibreglass bumper
bumper is still available new from VW classic parts in Germany, but it's not cheap, but if they are paying then do it right
