Faded paintwork
Hi, just a quickie. My paintwork has faded and weathered badly. My bundespost T25 should be ferrari red, but now it's more off pink/white! I've been using turtle wax T-cut and even abrasive rubbing compound to try and bring back the colour and have got some good results in parts but it's one hell of a knackering job. Does anyone know any easier methods/products/secrets to bringing the colour back? (and keeping it!)
Cheers Posten.

Well done Rob for that, the words "mouth" and "gifthorse" certainly should be in there somewhere. Don`t miss that one Posten
Can we have a club weekend camping at you place and watch the proceedings while drinking cold beers??

Wow! what an offer Robs. I'd have definitely taken you up on that had the old girl been running. Unfortunately she's in the dock getting done up prior to sale.
The 1.6 engine has dropped a piston and needs a new bottom end. Unfortunately, I don't have the time or money to do it, and have to pay for an airfare to Oz!
I've applied a large amount of elbow grease and autoglym today and it's paying off. One more day tomorrow and she'll be back to former glory.
Hey, you don't want to sort the engine out for me, do you? I can bring some beers round!
Cheers again!
P.S I'm putting her on ebay this week, but will try to give people on this site first dibs. I don't want to let her go, but would rather she went to a good home. You don't see many of them in the UK. She's a rare old bird.
